Training

Resilience training and speaking

We have been delivering our unique resilience training for over two years and in that time have trained staff from the police, NHS, care homes, councils, charities, armed forces, and construction, as well as teaching it in high schools. In January 2022 our training won us the Bronze Health Hero Award from the Total Wellness Club and we are working towards the silver certificate.

What does the training cover?

Our training sessions are interactive, and full of activities and discussions to illustrate this poignant and interesting topic. Our unique framework aims to change the way we look at resilience; not as an aid to ‘bouncing back’ but as a life-long skill that can grow and develop and help us when we face difficult situations. We cover four key topics as part of the training: self-care, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment, and each is illustrated with examples and handouts. From half hour bite-sized introduction sessions to 4-hour masterclasses, our resilience training can be tailored to suit the needs of individuals and organisations and can be delivered remotely as well as face-to-face. Unable to complete the full training all in one go? That’s no problem either, we can break it down into sections for you.

We work with a minimum of 8 participants on each of our training courses but can offer one to one work if needed by individuals. There is no upper limit for training larger groups. We also offer discounted copies of our Connected book as a takeaway for attendees.

Resilience training in partnership with Top Grades Education

We are thrilled to announce that we are delivering resilience training in high schools in partnership with private tuition centre, Top Grades Education. Richard and Emma Perry have a wealth of teaching experience and as a team we can provide the complete exam preparation experience for your students. This three-hour session covers an introduction to resilience as outlined above as well as revision techniques in English and Maths. These sessions will be available on Monday and Wednesday mornings from September 2022, but we are already taking bookings. Please get in touch with us for more information.
